REPORTER
Reporters are responsible for bringing us weekly YA Book World News. If you're someone who is in the know and typically knows the latest news before all your friends, we want you to work with us!
We're looking for content like books being turned into movies/show, books turned into webcomics, new releases from the big name authors, book events, and more!
Reporters are responsible for writing the blurb for the breaking news on the site, bringing us important source links, and linking book covers, author photos, etc that go with the articles.
Reporters are responsible for bringing a new Breaking News item to us each week as they happen. (We know there may be a week or two without news so we won't be upset if there's a week without news!)
Content Creators are responsible for creating
Bookish Lists(ex: 10 Book Boyfriends Who Would Impress Your Parents At The Christmas Party, 5 Books You Should Definitely Face Cover Out On Your Shelves, 12 YA Villains That Would Destroy Your School's Homecoming)
How To Articles (ex: How To Make Bookish Snacks, How To Make a Book Ornament in Five Steps, How To Sneak A Book Into A Holiday Party, How To Decorate Your Book Shelves With Gold Accents, etc)
Quizzes (ex: Create a Valentine's Day Party and Get A Book Rec, What Role Would You Play In A Dystopian World, Pick a Show and Find Out What Character You Would Be In Hunger Games, Which Book Boyfriend Should You Date, Are You A YA Hero or Villain, etc)
Content Creators are responsible for 1-2 pieces of content per week. Some articles will be assigned, some will be your choice.

MARKETING TEAM
The marketing team is responsible for marketing the show and content on social media. Their job is to pimp out the content the show is producing on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and BookTube and bring in new viewers.
We'll provide content each week to be shared and marketing team members will put it out on social media and actively lobby for new viewers to check out the show. Team members will also be provided with exclusive content to put out into the world.

There's some flexibility in how each marketing team member is promoting the show, but we like to see members leveraging their current fans on social media through posts, Stories, etc, and creating new avenues of promotion within Facebook groups, YouTube channels, etc Members won't need to use all these platforms, but it's important to use a combination of options weekly.
Our reporters, content creators, and marketers will have exclusive access to some incredible things inside Young Adult Edition.
You'll be the first to know about our big name guests and maybe even get to interact with them + you get to help make decisions!

Our trial runs are already happening and will run through the end of Dec 2019 before we select our final team members for 2020! Will you be joining us?
All positions including hosts, producers, designers, reporters, content creators, etc are volunteer positions. All volunteers commit to quarterly commitments with the team.
